Paul G. Milz Jr.
of Evansville and a seasonal resident of Phelps for more than 30 years died Feb. 1, 2012. He was 80. He was born June 23, 1931, in Monroe, the son of Peter and Lois (nee Boeck) Milz Sr. He graduated from Bellville High School in 1949.
In June 1959 he purchased Union Tavern where he was a businessman up until the time of his death.

Mary F. Kukanich
age 72 of Rhinelander, passed away on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at Ministry St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on May 12, 1939, in Kenosha, to Elmer and Margaret Pabst. Survivors include her husband, Raymond. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Mary at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church / St. Mary's site with Fr. Tom Thakadipuram officiating.
