With that said, today we enjoy a nice recipe from Tim Auldenburg of Phelps. Tim had seen a deep fried recipe using beer from a couple of weeks ago, so he wanted to send his in as well. as Tim said "You can never have to many recipes with beer". Great quote Tim.
OK, here we go with...Tim's Beer Fish.
2 pounds fish fillets
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon dried dill weed
3/4 cup beer
1/2 cup milk
2 quarts vegetable oil for frying
In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and dill. Mix well.
Add beer, milk, and eggs. Mix well.
Place fish fillets in batter mixture, coat well, and let stand for 15 minutes.
Heat deep fryer to 350 degrees. Place fish in hot oil, and fry until golden brown.
Sounds very DEEEEEELISH! Thanks Tim
