In early on a FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY!!!!
Lot's going on including a great Eagles Football game at Hurley tonight. Pre-game at 6:45 with the kick-off at 7pm.
Well, because it is F.F.F we enjoy another listeners fish recipe. Today we cook up this one from Bill and Tamarra Keil of St. Germain. The Keil favorite is one Bill said that if they do not have at least once during a shore lunch in the summer, tha family is quite upset.
So this week enjoy Keil's Keeper Fish Fry.
6 fresh fish
2 c. unsifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 c. beer
1/2 c. vegitable oil
Oil for deep frying
Coat fish with flour; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, eggs, beer and 1/2 cup oil; beat until smooth.
Dip fish into batter, allowing excess to drip into bowl.
Fry in deep hot 350 degree oil until golden brown on both sides.
Drain on paper towels.
Thanks Keil's. This sounds great. Your fish is on the way.
