Well hello there. My that week was a doozy. I hope yours went well.
No time to waste today, it is FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY!
Today we dine on a recipe from Don Wurtz from Monroe Wisconsin. Don said he likes this recipe because he can make it over an open fire an not burn or overcook the fish.
Today we dine on...Don's Pocket Fish
The Parts: 6 (6 ounce) walleye fillets
3 teaspoons dried dill weed
3 teaspoons onion powder
salt to taste
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Makin' It: Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Cut 6 foil squares, large enough for the size of each fillet.
Center fillets on the foil squares and sprinkle each with dill weed, onion powder, salt, lemon pepper, and garlic powder.
Sprinkle lemon juice over each fillet. Fold foil over fillets to make a pocket. Crimp seams to securely enclose.
Place packets on a baking sheet or over an open camp fire bake in the for 20 minutes.
Very nice Don. I do like the packet cooking because it cleans up so easy. Your fish is on the way.
