Well Happy 4th of July early. Since we will all be out at parades tomorrow I figured I'd post this weeks FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY recipe early.

This week we dine on a recipe from Dustin Pritchard of Iron River, MI. Dustin said it works great with all fish and nothing compares. So today we dine on Bacon Fish.

The Parts:
2 large or 4 medium walleye fillets
1 lb of bacon
1 cup of flour

Makin It:
First cook the pound of bacon and do NOT get rid of the grease.

Chop the bacon in large pieces and then set it aside.

Dredge fish in flour and tap off so the fillet is lightely covered in flour.

Place in bacon grease and cook until golden brown on each side and fish is flakey.


Dustin this sounds fantastic.Fish and bacon, why did I not hear of this sooner? Your fish is on the way.
