Happy Day after Easter.
We got to go home yesterday for the holiday. It was our first time in about ten years we got to run back to Menomonee Falls. It was very nice to attend the glorious event. We had great food and it is always nice to see our family.
But while we were feeding our faces folks in North Carolina were sweating breaking records.
It is really cool. Hundreds of Easter lovers gathered at a North Carolina theme park set a world record for the most people dyeing eggs.
On Saturday 317 people at the Plaza II Picnic Pavilion of the Cedar Fair Carowinds Theme Park in Charlotte set a Guinness World Record for the "Most People Dyeing Eggs,".
As easy as it sounds, it is not just dropping an egg in coloring.
Guinness says the egg-dyeing category is new, with guidelines stipulating there must be at least 250 participants equipped with at least one hard-boiled egg, spoon and enough dye to submerge his or her egg.
The eggs must be dyed for precisely 3 minutes, at which point participants must simultaneously remove their egg f the dye using said spoon. Each egg must be dyed fully and be presented to the Guinness World Records adjudicator for approval, the release said.
The record was set. So congratulations.
By the way I did set my own record yesterday. It was how many notches I had to reset my belt after eating home cooking.
Enjoy your Monday.
