Hope you are having a Great day. It is a big day for two reasons, here.

Alright, on to the business of the day. Today's recipe. It comes from Jay Carpenter of Eagle River. According to Jay, it is a recipe that his father used on many fishing trips.

Today we dine on Jay's Dads Fish.


The Parts:
2 Lbs. Walleye Fillets
1 Cup Plain White Flour
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1 Can Flat Beer
1 Egg
Your favorite cooking oil


Makin' It:
Wash Fillets and cut into serving size pieces.

Mix dry ingredients, then add egg and stir in beer until consistency is like thick gravy.

Pre-heat oil to 350 Degrees.

Place battered Walleye pieces in hot oil and fry until golden brown.

Walleye is fully cooked when pieces float to the top of hot oil.
