Alright, let's all say it together. Winter, winter go away, come again some other day.
Welcome to this blessed day. It's FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY!
Last week, Friday night I had made baked flounder at home. Very nice. We had never had it before. It is very perch like.
Ok, on to the fish fry of the week. It comes from Collin Ray of Crandon. Collin said that this is just a simple recipe that his family always uses and everyone just loves it. So this week we dine on...Collin's Simple Fish.
The Parts:
4 Walleye fillets
1 egg
1 cup pancake mix
1 cup flour
1 can 7-Up
Makin It:
Mix egg, pancake mix and 7-Up together well. The coating should be half as thin as pancake batter.
Dip the fillets into the flour and then into the pancake mix. Hold the fillet out of the pancake mix and let the extra batter fall off.
Deep fry for 4 to 6 minutes at 350 degrees.
Place on to paper towels to drain.
Sounds Great Collin. Your fish is on the way.
