Well back to some normalcy after two Friday early shifts.
I've got fish fry recipes stackin' up and gotta get them on this here blog. Why? Because it's FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY!!!
Today we dine on a wonderful recipe from Clyde and Mary Condiff. Clyde and Mary say that this is the family favorite when all the kids are visiting grandma and grandpas cabin. Today we are dining on Clyde's Fried Fish.
The Parts:
1 pound walleye fillets
1 egg
1 1/2 cups beer
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups crushed corn flakes, crushed.
Oil for frying
Makin' It:
In a medium bowl whisk one egg. Once whisked good, add beer, flour, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Place fish in the bowl, and thoroughly coat with the mixture.
In a separate bowl, add the dry cornflakes and dip the fish in the crumb mixture.
Heat deep frying oil to 350 degrees, and cook the fish.
Fry until golden brown, and flaky.
Wonderful and sounds great Condiff family. Your fish is on the way
