Happy Valentine's Day and Happy FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY!!!!!

Today please remember instead of giving your loved one chocolate, give em' FISH!!!

Today's recipe is from Bob Wilson of Rhinelander. Bob said in his email that his is his grandkids favorite. Today we dine on Potato Fish.


The Parts:
4 nice walleye fillets
1 bag of shredded hash browns.
2 eggs
Milk
1 Cup All Purpose Flour
Salt
Pepper
Oil for frying


Makin It:
Pat fish dry with paper towel. 

Salt and pepper. 

Dust fillets with flour and dip into the eggs (beaten with a touch of milk). Let any excess egg drip off.

Take ¼ of the grated potato and cover all sides of the fillet and gently apply pressure to ensure that the potato sticks.

Repeat with the remaining fillets.

In a med hot pan, add enough oil to just cover the bottom of the pan. Add fish and cook until potatoes just becoming golden.

Remove fish and then place pan in a 385 degree's for 10-12 minutes.

Sounds very good Bob. I think your grand kids are right. Your fish is in the mail.
