Well as spectacular as yesterday was, today is pretty nice as well. Today as you may know is FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY.
Today we dine on a recipe I received from Tina Kimball of Presq Isle. Tina said that her recipe is not that incredible, but if it get's here a free fish fry, she was sending it in. Well Tina, that is perfect.
This Friday recipe blog is about sharing. You share with me and I share with you. It does not matter if your recipe might be the same as someone elses, just get one in so everyone can see, they can try it and you'll get that free fish fry.
Today we dine on...Tina's Fish Fry
The Parts:
2 lbs. fish fillets
3 c. water
3/4 c. lemon juice
1 1/2 c. corn flake crumbs
1 tbsp. paprika
1 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
1/3 c. mayonnaise
4 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. seasoned salt
The Makin' Part:
Combine water and 3/4 cup lemon juice; pour over fish in shallow baking dish. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
Combine crumbs, paprika, 1 3/4 teaspoon seasoned salt.
Combine mayonnaise, mustard, remaining lemon juice and seasoned salt.
Pat dry fish fillets with paper towels.
Dip in mustard mixture, then roll in crumb mixture.
Place on well greased bake and serve platter and bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
