Don't forget to join me at Heart 2 in Arbor Vitae from 4p-6p today for a live broadcast. I'll have free fish to give away.
Let's get to today's recipe. It is from Helen Richardson of Eagle River. Helen said, "This is just a good recipe, you gotta try it".
Well helen I'm hoping everyone does. Today we dine on Just Good Fish.
1 lb. fish fillets
¼ cup milk
½ cup all-purpose flour or cornmeal
1 cup oil
Beat egg in shallow dish or pie pan until well blended. Stir in milk.
Place flour in another shallow dish. Dip fish fillets in egg mixture; dip in flour to coat.
Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Add fish and cook 5 to 7 minutes or until golden brown and fish flakes easily with fork, turning once.
Sounds Great Helen. Thanks and your fish is in the mail.
Now don't forget, if you have a recipe that everyone should try get it to me. All recipes can be sent by e-mails, letter, or dropped off her at the studios in Eagle River. If I use you recipe on this blog you will receive a FREE fish fry to a local restaurant.
