Can you believe the last day of November is upon us, wow. Before you know it, 2013. Or maybe not if you believe in the Mayan calendar.
Well on to todays recipe. it comes to us from Cory and Liz Lewis of Boulder Junction. Cory said that this is the family favorite. Today we dine on Pretzel Fish.
The Parts: 1 pound fish fillets
1 quart oil for frying
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 cup crushed pretzels
Directions Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 350 degrees F
Mix the flour, salt, and pepper in a large zip top plastic bag. Place fish in the bag, and gently shake to coat.
Place eggs and crushed pretzels in two separate shallow dishes. Dip coated fish in the eggs, then in the crushed pretzels.
Fry coated fish 10 minutes in the preheated oil, turning once, until golden brown and easily flaked with a fork.
