Finally! It's FISH FRY FRIDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 

Thank God. This week was a dandy. But we wrap it up today with a strong finish.

This week’s recipe comes from Doug Keller of Mercer. Doug wanted to share his recipe but wanted everyone who try's it to remember the key is using peanut oil. You can fry fish in any oil, but he say's to try it with the peanut.

Today we dine on Doug's Fried Fish


The Parts:
4 large walleye fillets
1 box Zataran's Fish Fry
Peanut oil

 
1 bottle of Hot Sauce
 
 
Makin’ It:
Place the pieces of fish in a glass bowl or container and pour the hot sauce over the fish. Put in the refrigerator while you heat up the oil.
 
Heat oil to 350 degrees.
 
Pour Zataran's fish fry in to gallon sized zipper bag.
 
Drop fish fillets into bag and shake to coat.
 
Drop fillets in hot oil and fry until the pieces float.
 
Remove and place on a plate with paper towels - eat while hot!
