What a nice day. 40's and sunny? Wow, that is a change for the week. it did start out quite cold. On most lakes we had a skim of ice and snow on the ground. But to wrap it up like this is not to bad.
Especially when it's FISH FRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY FRIDAY!!!!
Today we have a great recipe from Donald Kassimire of Land O' Lakes. Donald said that this recipe is one that he always makes when the grandkids come up for some time on the lake.
Today we dine on Donalds fish.
The Parts: 1 pound your favorite fish
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3/4 cup crushed pretzels
Makin' It: Heat the oil to 350.
Mix the flour, salt, and pepper in a large resealable plastic bag. Place fish in the bag, and gently shake to coat.
Place eggs and crushed pretzels in two separate shallow dishes. Dip coated fish in the eggs, then in the crushed pretzels
Fry coated fish 10 minutes in the preheated oil until golden brown and easily flaked with a fork.
Sounds wonderful Donald. Your fish is in the mail.
